Why two quotes can differ
Size of the job
A single socket costs less than rewiring a room. Measure or photograph the area if you can.
Materials and parts
Most quotes separate labour from materials. Ask which parts are included.
Urgency
Same-day and emergency call-outs usually cost more than a booked visit.
Access and distance
Hard-to-reach work, or a long trip across the city, can add to the price.
Getting a fair quote
